John Norberg
Investment Advisory Coach
John is the Investment Advisory Coach at Valuable Visits and founder of Norberg Wealth Management. He became a financial advisor first and foremost because he wanted to spend more time with his family, and to enable others to do the same. As a husband and father, he firmly believes that family is the fundamental building block of society, and if money is but a means to an end, what is that end if not to spend more time with those we love most?
Coming from a background that’s included fintech, bartending and gravedigging, John has always had an interest in investing. With the goal of becoming financially independent through helping others to do the same, he entered this industry to help people grow and protect the wealth for which they’ve worked so hard.
As a nonprofit leader, you recognize that fundraising is only the first step of the journey – what happens with those funds once the commitment has been made can make all the difference to your organization’s long-term goals. That’s where John and his team come into the picture.
John can help you and your organization with laying the groundwork, ensuring a smooth transition of the gift, and help you build a values-based investment strategy which reflects the mission of the organization and helps it weather the storms which inevitably come up during the journey.
While his office is located in Frederick, MD for local meetings, John doesn't believe geography should be a limiting factor in obtaining good advice. John works remotely with clients across the country, utilizing the professional research and resources of LPL Financial in tandem with a suite of advanced technology. In addition, John welcomes the opportunity to work with your legal team, accounting team and other trusted professionals to deliver a full-picture strategy that leverages everyone's expertise. "Together, we can work to bring the dreams and goals of your organization into reality."
